Decorative Mugs for Father's Day

I was trying to decide what treats to make for Father's Day.  I was cleaning out some of my kitchen cabinets and decided to throw out a bunch of old coffee mugs that have been around forever.  I went on Amazon and brought some mugs that I could personalize.  They had a whole bunch that you could choose from.  This was so easy to do, I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner.  They are going to look so much nicer than the ones I threw out!

All you have to do is unscrew the bottom of the mug and take out the paper insert and use that as a pattern for whatever paper you decide you want to use. Cut it out and just pop it in and screw the bottom back on.  The first one I used the back of a sheet of scrapbooking paper and decorated it with the stamps from the set One Wild Ride.  I thought it turned out great!

The next one did not take a very good picture, but I made it for Joe using snowmobiling paper and stickers.  The paper is blue and dark which made it hard to photo.  I love it!  I think I'm going to make one for myself.

The next mug is for the camper in the group.

I hope the guys will like them, I know I do!!  What's nice is that you can always change them up if you want.  I kept one of the inserts for a template in my stash.

Yesterday we had so much fun.  Jennifer had her Pre-Kindergarten graduation.  It was so cute.  They sang some songs and even wore cute hats and received a diploma.  We then went out to dinner and of course stopped for ice cream for dessert.  We hope everyone has a wonderful Father's Day weekend.

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

Oh, my word, these are amazing gifts! I thought at first you stamped on the mug and wondered how in the world, but what fun that it's a paper insert. So cool!

Oh I Love these. I had bought one a couple of years ago and put Owl paper in it. But it opened at the top. Just didn't like It. Going to have to look into these. Looks a lot better than the one I had. I'm sure they loved them. Thanks for visiting my blog and for the nice comment.

Congrats to sweet little Jennifer on her kindergarten graduation. To top off the day celebration with ice cream is great. ♥
