I Miss You card

I saw this adorable stamp set and fell in love with it.  It's called "Here's Your Sign" by Jess Francisco in collaboration with Maker Forte.  I know the owner of Maker Forte and I'm so happy for their success.  The stamp set is a little girl holding up a blank sign that can be stamped with a bunch of sentiments on the set as well as cute little faces.  I just knew it would be perfect to sent to Jennifer.

I used SU's Pool Party CS for my base card and some of their DSP from a 6x6 pad along with a doily. I used Lawn Fawn's Joint Stitching Double Rectangle Die on the DSP.  This time I used the "I Miss You" sentiment on the sign and colored her with my markers.  I also put her on a Wobble which Jennifer loves! I have so much  ribbon that my SIL got me and found the perfect match!

I used some extra DSP and punched some cute little hearts to dress up the inside.  I haven't used much of this CS before, but I liked how it turned out.  It is still bitter cold here and they are forecasting another snow storm for the beginning of the week!  Just what we need!  Have a great weekend!

Snowflake Cards

I told myself that I would not buy any more DSP until I used some of my stash up, but when I saw Simon Says Snowflake Season January 2021 kit I justified the purchase by telling myself the paper was only a 6x6 pad and a small part of the kit!!  I fell in love with this kit!  It came with beautiful snowflake stamps, a snowflake die, embossing folder (Filigree Snowflake SF211) and lots more.  The paper is just so pretty which makes it hard to decide which side to use.

Here are the first two cards I made with this kit.

The first card I used the cute thank you sentiment, embossing folder and snowflake die.

Here is another stamp that I used on the inside,

Here is the second card I made with using another sentiment.  I just love the DSP.

Here is the same stamp I used for the inside.  Before I put this kit away I'm going to try and make some Christmas cards.

Thinking of You Card

I needed another Thinking of you card and even though Christmas is over, I decided to use Heartfelt Creation's Snowy Pines Collection that I used for most of my Christmas cards!  I just love this collection - especially their DSP.  For this card, I used their Rounded Window Frame Dies, Eyelet Circle and Basic Small Die and Fanci-Fold Pocket & Accents Die.

I used SU's stamp set Beautiful Day for my sentiment and the flowers I made with Heartfelt Creations Poinsettia stamp set and die.  I always use SU's Real Red to color my poinsettias - I love that color!  The leaves were stamped and colored with SU's Old Olive with their Leafy Accents Collection.  I used some gold prills for the centers.  I was so happy with the results.

Jennifer went back to school Monday and this is Daisy as she left in the morning!

And, this is Daisy when she came home!

It was a long day for both of them! Thanks for stopping by today!

Cookie Mix Gift Jars

I saw this great idea over at - Brenda Quintana's Blog - and decided to make a bunch of them to give out at Christmas.  They were a big hit!  The kids always are looking for cookies and this makes it so easy for them to make their own.  All the main  ingredients are layered in the jar and the recipe is printed on the back of the tag on how to mix everything together.  It makes 12 cookies!

Here are two samples of what I made.  I used Lawn Fawn Bugs & Kisses stamp set for my jar and SU's Seasonal Chums for my sentiment.

I made the folded tag.  I loved how they turned out!  Brenda made a pdf file with the recipe printed out which made it so easy to put together.  There are so many different recipes on the web, so I'm sure I will make these again for different occasions.
