Father's Day Card

Well, I finally got back to the craft room to finish Joe's Father's Day card.  First I had to remember where I hid it!  LOL!!  It was a pretty simple card to make, but I liked it and I think he will too!

I used Crumb Cake CS for my base and then my first layer was a scrap of DSP.  I made some banners of different colors also with some scrap paper.  I have definitely made a dent in my scrap pile!  My sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set.  I have been using this a lot lately.  I colored some dots around my oval that I cut out with my die and then used my large and small star punches and put a small brad in the middle.

For the inside sentiment, I used the same $1 stamp from Michael's and added some stars on the bottom.  As I said, it was pretty simple but I liked it.  I have one more card to make plus I am working on a project for the men in the family.  All the schools are closing so summer begins!

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

I have submitted this card to CardzTV Anthing Goes Challenge #51.

This is a very masculine card and perfect for Father's Day. I still don't have a plan for Rich's card, but I'd better get busy thinking about it. I have a gift idea, but no card. Good for you, making a dent in your scrap pile. All those cute little treasures you make must really use up a lot of it. I still have a cupboard full of paper!

This is a great card. I love the colors together. I imagine Joe Loved it. You're so good at working with pattern papers.
