Shaped Birdcage Christmas Card

Well, today it is Christmas in July, so I decided to make my first Christmas Card for this season.  I have to admit I always have good intentions but I rarely make many Christmas cards.  I usually make projects for Jennifer to take to school and her teachers, as well as for my daughter to take to the Wellness Center.  Unfortunately, the Wellness Center is still not open and we're not sure whether Jennifer will continue to be home schooled.  Heartfelt Creations recently released the first of their Christmas season collection called Snowy Pines.  It is such a beautiful set and they have so many videos on their website and their designers have outdone themselves with so many beautiful cards for us to CASE.  The first card that I decided to make is that of a shaped birdcage Christmas card.

I was so pleased how it turned out.  I used the poinsettia flowers from one of last year's Christmas collections.  Last year I used stamens on them but decided to try gold prills this year.  The beautiful cardinals, branch and pine cones are part of this year's collection.  I'm not a good colorist, but I think for my first try they turned out pretty good.  I used their dries white adhesive for the snow and of course some glitter. So, I'm pleased to say that I have started making my Christmas cards for this season!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  Stay safe!

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

Poinsettias are one of my favorite flowers, I love them. I keep my poinsettia flower arrangements on display all year, been doing that a long time.

This poinsettia & Shaped Birdcage Christmas Card is beautiful, really unique. Thanks for sharing your creative talents, it's inspiring.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Stay Safe, dear Friend!

Your card is just lovely. What a pretty Christmas collection. LOVE the birds. I'm crazy about birds. I have been wanting to get some Stamens for flowers. I just found out the other day what they are called. Your flowers are so pretty to. You have got to start entering your gorgeous cards in some challenges. Hope you have a good week. Stay safe!
