Happy Monday!! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I needed to make some "Thinking of You" cards over the weekend and decided to ink up my Kind Koala stamp from SU that I haven't used yet. I thought this stamp was so cute. I decided to CASE this adorable card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers.
I used Smokey Slate CS from SU for my base card and layered it with Sweet Sugarplum CS. I embossed it with my Polka Dot folder and adhered it to my base. I cut a piece of Whisper White Thick CS 2" wide and used my Scalloped Tag punch. I used Basic Black to stamp out my Koala Bear.
I colored it in and then added some pink ribbon I had on hand. I adhered it to the front of the card with some dimensionals to pop it up. I thought it turned out so cute!
For my sentiment, I used a stamp from the Pretty Kitty stamp set from SU. I'm in the midst of unpacking boxes in my craft room and setting everything up. It is so nice to be able to see my stamp sets and pick one out instead of going through boxes to find something!! Every box seems like Christmas!!

Easter Bunny Card
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! It was so busy here with coloring eggs, an Easter egg hunt and of course eating lots of goodies!! We had a great time. I have one more Easter card to show you that I made for my daughter Jeannie. She and Jennifer had seen it stamped out laying on my desk a few weeks ago and mentioned how cute the bunny was so I decided to make it for her.
This is a Easter stamp from SU that I had purchased last year. I think it is so cute - but I love bunnies. At one time, when my girls were young we had four rabbits and Rachel and Sarah were involved with 4H Club showing their rabbit - Gilbert! He was the best rabbit I have ever seen. I used Whisper White for my base card and used a scalloped oval die to cut out some DSP paper. After coloring my bunny, I adhered it to my base card making sure it was centered in the oval, I then popped up the DSP with some dimensionals.
I felt like it needed something else, so I added some pink ribbon I had in my stash and it was finished. I think it turned out so cute! My daughter loved it. Here is the inside sentiment that I used.
Well, now it time to put away all the Easter goodies for another year. The house always looks so empty without all those eggs!! Hope everyone has a great week!

Easter Lamb Card
I had purchased this stamp set from SU last year and love it! I decided to use it to make Jennifer an Easter card as she is such an animal lover.
It came together so quick. I adhered DSP I had for my layer on some Whisper White paper. After I colored in my lamb, I embossed my second layer and cut out an circle. I placed my lamb on the DSP making sure it was centered in the circle and then popped up my embossing layer with some dimensionals.
I made a banner stamping only the greeting from the stamp and then glued some pink ribbon underneath it so it would show up more. For the inside sentiment, I used another $1 stamp from Michael's. I love looking through their bins!
I can't believe the temperature change here. It is 80 degrees!! And I love it!! All my flowers are popping through and all the buds are appearing on the trees. Can I say winter is finally over?? Hope everyone is having a great week!

Easter Cross Card
I love making note cards and when I saw this VIDEO I decided to make some for Easter. The only problem was that I didn't have the new version of this punch, but fortunately Brenda had made an earlier version using the old punch. So I combined the two versions, as I liked using a colored layer of CS.
I made a bunch of these and these are a few samples that I have left. Here is the VIDEO of the older version for you to view. I was so pleased with how they turned out.
Here is the inside sentiment I used that I got from Michael's years ago!
These cards can be used for other occasions as well. You can use any color and DSP that you have on hand. It is had to believe that it is Palm Sunday weekend. Fortunately, the weather is suppose to warm up this weekend as it has been very cold, windy and raining here. Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend.

Happy Birthday Card
I wanted to try out my new debossing folders on a birthday card. I didn't have any of these and thought it would be neat to try them out. I saw cards that used many different ways to color the debossing and decided to use my Party Pants stamp set.
Since I needed a card for a boy, I chose these colors - Lost Lagoon, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral. I stamped my balloon stamp in Lost Lagoon randomly across the debossing and then filled in with my Daffodil Delight ink. I loved how it made the debossing showed up. I used my Butterfly Basics stamp set to stamp only the birthday sentiment of the stamp.
I dressed it up with a star stamp and some sequins. For the inside sentiment I used my stamp set Party with Cake.
I was really pleased how it turned out. The other debossing folder says Celebrate, so I'll try that next. Sunday I had a great time at the Craft Show in Allentown, PA. I always enjoy doing some make n' takes, plus they picked my name for a door prize which is always nice. Here is a picture of one of the cute make n' takes I did.
It was at the Melissa Francis booth. I thought the tags were so cute. I purchased extras so I could make some for Jennifer's friends at daycare. The larger one is a picture I fell in love with and made to have on hand for a card. They are both backed with chipboard, so are very sturdy. I also decided to purchase her Glass Glitter. I just loved how easy it was to work with. I used her brand glue and sprinkled the glitter on and was impressed how it stayed on and I didn't have a mess on my hands or on the desk when I was finished. Have a great week!

Cool Treats Card
I needed a bunch of birthday cards for the upcoming months. I had purchased SU's Cool Treats stamp set and decided to try it out. Every Tuesday, Brenda from Qbee's Quest, does a Casing from SU's catalog. She did a really cute birthday card with this stamp set - check out her VIDEO.
I love using my note cards and loved how this card turned out. I haven't masked anything in awhile and really liked making the ice cream cone. The only problem I had was stamping the chocolate topping over the scoop of ice cream. I had about 1/8" not covered on the top, but used my SU Chocolate Chip marker to fill in.
Here is the inside of my card with the sentiment from Party with Cake stamp set.
I have been trying to make two of each cards I make, using one and keeping one in my stash. This card was no exception. When I went to embellish the front of the second card, I realized that I had gotten an ink mark on the front of my panel. I couldn't decided how to cover it up and then reached for my flowers to hide the mark. Then I added a cute little butterfly to top it off. Saved another card from the trash!!
I want to thank everyone for their good wishes and prayers for my daughter's fiance. He is home, recuperating and doing very well. It has only been a week and he looks so much better.

Music Note Birthday Card
I have a friend who is an excellent piano player. She even tried to teach me piano when I was a child to no avail. So when her birthday rolls around I try and create a card that has to do with music. Last year at the Craft Fair, I purchased this great stamp of sheet music. I made a tent card out of SU's Basic Black CS for my base in a A2 sized card. My layer is 4" x 5 1/4" of SU's Whisper White which I stamped my sheet music in Basic Black.
I used my Sweet and Sassy Framelits to cut out two hearts. I applied a scrap piece of Real Red CS on my base card and then popped up my layer with some dimensionals as well as the smaller heart. I used part of the sentiment from SU's Party With Cake and popped that up as well.
For my inside sentiment, I used SU's Party With Cake as well stamped in Basic Black. This card came together really quick, and I loved how the cutout hearts looked on the front. We have had a very busy week. My daughter's fiance had major cardiac surgery yesterday for a torn heart valve, and I'm so pleased that the surgeon was able to repair it and he is doing well. We also had Jennifer for her first overnight last Sunday which was so much fun. She was so good and definitely kept everyone's heart happy. I'm pleased to say that our snow is melting and with rain in the forecast I hope its days are numbered! Sarah's birthday is Sunday - hard to believe that she will be 15!! Where does the time go? Enjoy your weekend!
