Post Cards

I am so excited to share this post with you!  I remember when traveling around with my parents when I was a kid, the first thing we would do is look for a postcard where we were staying and send it back home or to our relatives.  I used to have such a collection of postcards and would take them out and remember all the good times we had at a particular place.  I guess they still have them, but I haven't sent any in years!  I came across this cute VIDEO that Jennifer McGuire made and I had to make some.

Jennifer had just brought home some school work and a project she had made with all A's, so I thought this one would be just the ticket for her.  I usually try and send her a card on the weekends we don't see her, so I will save the little mouse for the future.

These stamp sets are from the Colorado Craft Co.  I just fell in love with them!

For the mouse, I did some blending!  Isn't he cute!!

Her free download worked out great!  I am definitely going to make a bunch of these to have on hand.  They came together very quick and are a nice change of pace instead of a card!  I think these would be great to use as an invitation.

Joe and I picked up the finished ceramic pieces after they were fired.  I think they turned out pretty good!

Margaret made the angel, Jeannie made the Gnome for their Fairy garden, Rachel made the elephant, Jennifer made the cute dolphin and I made the candle holder that I wanted to hold  my different brushes for my craft room.  I think we will definitely try this again as we had so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

Oh, so cute! I've been in love with those Anita Jeram stamps, but haven't ordered any. These are absolutely perfect for you and your young family. Love the whole postcard idea and it's so cool that JM has a free download. I still have a pad of watercolor postcard blanks. I should get those out again. Your cards are super duper cute! You all did great with your ceramic pieces! I know how fun that is as I used to go with friends, but the place closed down.
