What crazy weather we are having lately. We had several days of freezing weather, then snow last night and now today it is so nice and warm outside. Not that I'm complaining, as I know out west things are not good! I decided to start making some Valentine Day cards using my Blooming Heart Thinlets. I had purchased them last year. The large heart didn't cut right and by the time I got a replacement the holiday was over, so I'm going to make up for lost time.
The first card is very simple and basic, but I love how the soft colors worked together.
I used SU's Crumb Cake for the basic card and Pink Pirouette for the layer. My heart was cut out in Whisper White.
I used the die from # of Years to cut out my greeting and die cut some small flowers as well decorating them with some rhinestones. I felt like it needed something else and found some thin twine and tied a simple knot. I'm happy to say that my thinlet worked like a charm! Hope everyone is safe and sound with this crazy weather,
Thanks for stopping by,
Nancy

That is the prettiest heart! I love the banner and flowers with it, too. I do like sending Valentine's to friends, just like when I was a kid, so hope I can make time this year. Thankfully, we're not getting the worst of the weather out here. Just that bit of snow and then freezing temps for a while. Nice today and should be tomorrow, then back to heavy rain. Going to enjoy it while we can!
Simply spectacular. I like how simple this card looks. It's great.
