Piano Birthday Card

I saw this card awhile ago and knew it would be a perfect birthday card for a friend of mine who plays the piano.  I was nervous about making it, but it went together pretty smoothly.  Sandy Hancock did a great tutorial on this if you're interested in making it.

Supplies:

Paper - Basic Black, Whisper White, Brushed Silver - SU
Ink - Basic Black
Stamps - Outlined Occasions - SU, Morningstar Stamp
Accessories - Top Note Die, Word Window Punch - SU

This is an A2 card - 5 1/2" x 41/4" in Basic Black.  The next layer in Whisper White is 5 1/4" x 4".  I didn't have the Music Notes Standard Wheel so my friend Denise let me use her stamp for the background.  Follow Sandy's tutorial for making the piano.  I eyeballed my keys and I think it turned out OK.  I didn't have the sentiment stamp she used, but my Outlined Occasions stamp fit perfect in the space.

Everyone I talk to are waiting anxiously for Spring.  For some reason this have been a long winter!  Even my husband is working on his lawn mower -  which is a good sign! Have a great week!

Thanks for stopping bye,
Nancy, Rachel & Sarah

Love the card. It has a nice masculine touch to it as well. Perfect for a man birthday, father's day, whatever day card. Thanks for sharing.
