Birthday Card with Embossing Paste

I know everyone is doing Christmas items, but a birthday snuck up on me so I tried out this birthday card video that I saw at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts blog.  I love her videos as she is so thorough and explains everything so well.  I had not used my embossing paste in a while and wanted to try it again.  Following her instructions, it was really easy.  I liked the look of putting the Dazzling Diamonds in the paste.

The colors I used were Melon Mambo, Pool Party and Lemon Lime.  She has all the measurements in her video.  I also used the Happy Birthday Thinlets die with the adhesive paper.  I love how this makes it so easy to adher on your paper.

Here is the inside sentiment.  I even made an envelope with my punch board!

It's hard to see, but the paper matched perfectly.  Well, I'm almost finished my goodies for the Wellness Center that I'll post soon.  Then I have to start of the goodies for Jennifer's class!

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

Love these pretty birthday colors and the glittery embossing paste! Can't go wrong with Dazzling Diamonds! I have two bday cards to make yet this month, too.

This is a great Birthday card. I love all the sparkle. Every time I work with the glitter I have it everywhere. I've not ever thought to add it to embossing.. that sounds fun, plus I have my daughter's birthday on the 27th so I better start making a card too.
