I wanted to make something different for Jennifer for Valentine's Day. I had purchased SU's stamp set Yummy in My Tummy and made this into a shaker card. It turned out so cute.
I used Real Red CS for my base card - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored in half. My layer in Black was 4" x 5 1/4" . I stamped my monster in Basic Black on Whisper White layer of 5" x 3 3/4". I embossed a window sheet with the sentiment in Bubble Gum Pink and used some foam sheets to create my shaker. I put in some Sprinkle Embellishments and backed it with some Black CS. Even with the sentiment, I felt like it needed something else, so I decided to quill two red hearts to put on the front of the card. I used to do a lot of quilling and really miss it. There is just so much time in the day for fun!!
I forgot to take a picture before I gave it to her. By the time I did, she had enjoyed a lot of shaking as you can see with the wrinkle!! It was such a beautiful day - heat was off and windows opened!! Tomorrow is going to be even warmer !! Hope you are having a great weekend as well!
Thanks for stoppig by,
Nancy

Haha! I know she loved it, and that's what it's all about! Enjoy your beautiful day!
AW... I agree with Leslie, that's what it's all about. A well loved card being shaken, that's so super sweet. Wrinkles and all. I am so happy to hear you had a beautiful day, and opened up windows. Yay!! After a long winter it's always the best to get that fresh air in the house. We had our window open for a little bit yesterday, so sunny and nice. Today it's much more dreary and cooler. But I remind myself, it's February in WI. so yesterday was a luxury. Have a great week my friend.
