I have a cute little bookmark for you today! My stamping friend from Florida spent her last day here on Wed. and we had so much fun! I wanted to make something for her adorable Granddaughter. I saw this cute bookmark on DIY and knew I wanted to make one for her and Jennifer.
I love how they turned out and they were so easy to make. This is another good way to use up some scraps.
My friend's Granddaughter loves the color purple, so I mixed some DSP scraps with the new in-color Sweet Sugarplum. I used my 1 1/4" circle punch and punched out some medium sized cardboard as well. I glued the paper on each side of the cardboard and then used my tear and tape to put them together. I cut out some antennas out of paper as well, and glued them on along with some googly eyes.
Here's the one I made for Jennifer. I think they are so cute!! I made this one with the circles going up versus the other one with the circles going down. I am looking forward to some cooler weather this weekend.
Thanks for stopping by,
Nancy, Rachel & Sarah

Such cute kids' bookmarks! Heck, I might want some for me. I'm still using the last bookmark I made for a Power Poppy release. I love when I can make something useful.
Goodness these are some cute bookmarks and I agree, a lovely way to use up some scrap papers. My sister teaches pre-school that would be perfect for her. I might have to make a few.
