Snowflake Rosettes

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  It's hard to believe that a New Year is right around the corner.  For the first time in many years, I didn't get to make any Christmas cards made except two for Jennifer and Juan.  Sarah was so nice and came up and brought down all of our decorations from the attic and decorated our house for Christmas.  She did such a beautiful job.

A few months ago, I saw these cute snowflakes dies from Jim Holtz - Sizzix 666567 Thinlet rosette and snowflake rosette die - Decembet 2025.  I use to make so many of them and enjoyed making them, so I decided to make some for the family to put on their presents.  That was my big craft project for the season.

I made these with leftover DSP and used the snowflake centers that came from Jim Holtz as well.

I quickly remembered not to use thin DSP as the early ones split on the seams so I had to dig deeper into my stash!

I tied on some gold twine so they can be used on their trees in the future.  I really enjoyed making these and loved how they turned out!  Here are some pictures of Sarah's hard work!

Here is a picture of Jennifer with Daisy and their new rescue Lily taking a picture with Santa!

It has been so cold, snowy and windy here, but New Year's Eve should be better.  Hopefully, I'll be able to get more time to spend in my craft room in the coming year!  Joe wants to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. He is recovering and doing well.  We wish you all a wonderful Happy New Year!

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

Wow your rosettes are gorgeous! And I love the wax seal in the center. And the photos are all lovely too. Especially love Jennifer and her pups. Glad Joe's doing well. Happier New Year for all.

I think your rosettes are a wonderful Christmas craft project! Pretty on the gifts and later on the trees. Your house looks so beautiful with Sarah's decorating. She has a lovely generous spirit to do that for you. I used to always have two trees in this house, then I got down to one plus a table top, and now just the table top. We'll have to see what happens later, but Rich is not doing well and things are up in the air. I'm so excited to see Lily has joined Jennifer's family! She is a lucky little doggie and so cute! Wishing you a happy new year!

Nice to see a new post from you. Love the Snowflakes and love that they can hang them on the tree. Hope you can find some time to play in your craft room. Glad to hear that your hubby is doing better. Sarah did a wonderful job decorating. I usually get help from my granddaughter, but she was so busy with work and her college classes she didn't have the time. It took me awhile with my bad back, but I finally got it all up now I'm working on taking it down. Have a great rest of your day and Happy New Year!
