It is hard to believe that Sarah's son just turned 4 years old. I managed to get into my craft room to make him a card. I didn't have a lot of time but I liked how the card turned out.
Whenever I can I try and use up some of my scraps of DSP. This was in my pile and I thought the candles were cute as he loves to blow them out! My CS I used was SU's Lost Lagoon which I love and I used SU's Stamp/die set # of Years for the sentiment. I purchased this a long time a go and it has been one of my most used sets.
For my inside sentiment, I used what was still on my desk the Happiest of Birthday stamp set from SU. I love how it fills up the inside of the card. Not to waste a scrap of the DSP, I decorated the side of the CS.
Here is a picture of him already to go back to Nursery School. This year he goes 3 days a week! He even got a haircut for the occasion which made him look so grown up!
Thanks for stopping by,
Nancy

Perfect dsp for a birthday card! Juan is adorable.
Grown up indeed! I was just thinking how much older he looks in the photo, as well as very handsome! What a perfect card you made for him. Every mom or grandma should have that stamp and die set!
OH, what a cutie, he's adorable! I love, love, LOVE the card. It's absolutely perfectly beautiful. You did a great job on it, as usual, Nancy. I wish you well, my friend. Have a wonderful Weekend!
I'm tickled that you took the time to come by my blog and also to comment. Thank you for your sweet heartwarming message. I love it and appreciate it so much.
Happy birthday to Juan.....
Time fly so fast.... Juan will go to school soon.
Super cute card and I'm sure he loved seeing all the candles on the front. Little boys look so cute and much older when they get their haircut. Happy Birthday to him!

Juan is so cute! You are very talented! I also love your blog background. Warm greetings from a retired lady living in Montreal, Canada.
That sounds adorable! π I love how you made use of your DSP scraps — the candle design is such a sweet touch, especially since he loves blowing them out! Lost Lagoon is such a gorgeous color too, and that stamp/die set really is a classic. π
What a lovely way to use up your DSP scraps! π The candle pattern is just perfect for the occasion — so thoughtful and fun. Lost Lagoon is one of my favorite shades too, it always adds such a nice touch. That # of Years set is a real keeper! π
