Jennifer's Birthday/Halloween Card

I almost forgot to post the card I made for Jennifer's birthday.  As you know, since she was born on Halloween I try and include the number of years with the number of pumpkins.  As she is getting older it is getting interesting to say the least.  She loves shaker cards so I decided to make one.

I used the Halloween Words die again with the Glitter Paste and Happy Halloween Banner die.  For my shaker I used Pretty Pink Posh's Shaker die  and filled it with Halloween gems.  I popped it up with some thin layer tape.  Love how it turned out.

For my inside sentiment, I addressed the birthday wishes of the card by using SU's Large Humber Die for the age and birthday wishes.  I actually found 11 little pumpkin stickers.

For the back of the card, I used Spellbinders Ghost Wax Seal that glows in the dark!  I usually put these on the flap of the envelope but I knew Jennifer would like to keep it on the card.  She actually has a box that she keeps all the cards that I have made her!

I forgot to post the goodies that I made for Halloween.  I always make the tootsie pop ghosts and this year I used one of my ghost dies and secured some candy on them.  Juan took a bunch to Nursey School for the class and teachers and enjoyed passing them out.

Here is a picture of the birthday girl with her partner in crime right by her side.

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

Your shaker card is so cute, the pumpkin stickers worked perfectly, and the ghost treat holders are adorable. My granddaughter turns 18 her next birthday and loves Hello Kitty. Was wondering where you got the cake topper. Love It!
Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for me and my family.

OMGosh, your shaker ghost is so cute! I think I'm losing track of the kids' ages. I keep remembering a sweet 16... Those little ghost dies holding the candy are adorable. And speaking of adorable, your last picture is full of it. What fun!
