Just for You Card

Well, the holiday weekend is here!!  We had a busy day today watching Jennifer, or should I say she was watching me.  She is fascinated with the boot I have to wear.  Good thing she is so good as my energy level is not what it should be.  She loves to paint, so my refrigerator is full of wonderful pictures!  Then she went riding on her ATV with Poppy and she had a great nap after lunch.

So while I had time, I finished up some cards I started the other day.  I had not used the Botanicals For You stamp set from SU much and made these cards with it.  They came together really quick.

I used Crumb Cake for the base card and used a layer of Watermelon Wonder next.  I love that color.  My next layer was from the Birthday Bouquet DSP.  I stamped my Just For You on some Whisper White and glued it on a layer of Garden Green.

My bow is made from Watermelon Wonder ribbon and I punched a flower out of the Watermelon CS and decorated it with a pearl.

I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set for the inside.  I decided this card can be used for a lot occasions - birthday, engagement, retirement, etc.  I hated cutting into my DSP, but.......I told myself I will not buy anymore until I use some up.

We are suppose to have some rain off and on for the weekend.  I hope we will at least get to barbecue some.  Hope everyone enjoys their Holiday!

Thanks for stopping by,

Nancy

How fantastic these cards are with all the Watermelon Wonder coming together. I don't have that color, but it sure is pretty! Beautiful paper and a big, bold sentiment. Makes for a quick card!

Another lovely card my friend. So glad to hear that Jennifer is such a sweetheart, sounds like a little doll. I'm so happy you are getting to spend more time in your craft room. I'm thinking of adding pictures of the porch that I use as my craft room, I've see other people post that on their blogs, maybe someone will like to see my little mess card space. haha I know I'd love to see your amazing craft room. I always find it interesting to see how people organize their stamping products. I use a shoe box to hold my inks etc. sorry for the long post.
