Ice Cream Birthday Card

I finally finished making Halloween cards!  I could make them all year long!  I made this card for my friend's birthday.  She loves anything to do with ice cream so I thought this be a perfect card for her!

I used Gina K's Ice Cream Social stamp/die set.  For my base card, I used SU's Chocolate Chip and Polish Pink CS for my layers.  For the next layer, I used Taylor Expressions Polka Dot stencil in the same pink color.  Love that look!  For my  Ice Cream colors, I used SU's Daffodil Delight, Polish Pink and Chocolate Chip and popped them up with dimensionals.

For my inside sentiment and Happy Birthday stamp, I used SU's Perennial Birthday set.  I found some cute washi tape that had popsicles on it which I used to  decorate the bottom.   I had such a fun time making this card!

Jennifer's Birthday/Halloween Card

I almost forgot to post the card I made for Jennifer's birthday.  As you know, since she was born on Halloween I try and include the number of years with the number of pumpkins.  As she is getting older it is getting interesting to say the least.  She loves shaker cards so I decided to make one.

I used the Halloween Words die again with the Glitter Paste and Happy Halloween Banner die.  For my shaker I used Pretty Pink Posh's Shaker die  and filled it with Halloween gems.  I popped it up with some thin layer tape.  Love how it turned out.

For my inside sentiment, I addressed the birthday wishes of the card by using SU's Large Humber Die for the age and birthday wishes.  I actually found 11 little pumpkin stickers.

For the back of the card, I used Spellbinders Ghost Wax Seal that glows in the dark!  I usually put these on the flap of the envelope but I knew Jennifer would like to keep it on the card.  She actually has a box that she keeps all the cards that I have made her!

I forgot to post the goodies that I made for Halloween.  I always make the tootsie pop ghosts and this year I used one of my ghost dies and secured some candy on them.  Juan took a bunch to Nursey School for the class and teachers and enjoyed passing them out.

Here is a picture of the birthday girl with her partner in crime right by her side.

Skeleton Halloween Card

I hope everyone had a great Halloween!  It was such a beautiful day here - 80 degrees - we sat outside giving away the candy. Our little Great Grandson Juan gave everyone a laugh driving from door to door in his card treat and treating!

Here is the card I made for him for Halloween!

I used the Halloween Words stencil again along with the Glitter Glaze and the die cut Happy Halloween  Banner with the Mini Skeleton from Scrapbook. I mounted the skeleton on a wobble so it would wiggle around!

For my inside sentiment, I used  my old stamp from Michael's with some extra dies I had.  We had such a great time.
