Frog St. Patrick's Day Card

I needed to make one last card for St. Patrick's Day which was for Jennifer.  When I was looking in Pinterest for ideas I came across this cute frog card.  Jennifer loves frogs!  I don't know where she got all the information but she has a bunch of them in different shapes and sizes in rubber and always quizzes me on what kind they are and different facts about them.  The one I remembered is that the green one is a tree frog and the red one is poisonous.  She loves to talk about them and has names for all of them.  This is usually on facetime, so I have my cheat sheet to help me along!  LOL!!

I changed my card up a bit but like how it turned out!  I used SU's Lemon-Lime Twist CS for my base card with layers of Garden Green, Whisper White and mounted my little frog on the Lemon-Lime Twist.  For my sentiment I used Gina K's stamp set Luck & Love again.  My frog came from SU's stamp set So Hoppy Together.  I decorated it with some shamrocks and put a wobble on the frog so when she opens it up it will move around!

I didn't decorate the inside much - just with some shamrocks.  I'm going to say something like the frog is hopping over to wish her a Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Here is one tray of pretzels that I decorated with some green chocolate pieces.

I had some leftover chocolate so I found some molds and used it up.

I saw this cute craft on Pinterest and decided to make some for the girls.

I used my old bigz top note die from SU and decorated them with some craft flowers, shamrocks and filled with chocolate coins!  Such fun!

Shamrock St. Patrick's Day Card

Since I had some leftover shamrocks, I decided to make some more cards for St. Patrick's Day.  This was an easy card to put together.

The shamrocks are from Gina K's kit Luck and Love that I used in my last post.  The papers are from SU - Whisper White, Garden Green and some scrap DSP.  The sentiment is also an old SU stamp that a friend found at a garage sale and gave  me.

The inks used for the shamrocks are SU's Garden Green, Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist.  I added some gem stones in the center of them.

I used my Inkadinkadoo stamp for the inside sentiment with another leftover shamrock.

I like decorating my envelopes, so I used my Peg stamp again from Judith Stamps.

We went from 70 degrees yesterday to rain/snow today.  I guess winter doesn't want to give up its grip on us yet.  They are forecasting another storm over the weekend!  I'm looking for robins but haven't seen any yet.

St. Patrick's Day Cards

With some warm weather coming in, it is hard to believe that it is March.  I always make some St. Patrick's Day cards and was having trouble deciding what to make when I saw this - KIT - that Gina K was selling.  I thought it was so neat so I decided to try it!  You get so much for your money with her kits.

I made my cards bigger than an A2 size.  I found these 5 1/2" x 6" cards and envelopes and decided to use them instead.  This was the first time I did cards like these but was happy with the results.  I used her Luck & Love and Frame Flora stamp set and dies.

I also used a different sentiment.  For my inks I used Garden Green, Old Olive and Lemon-Lime Twist.

I only have two St. Patrick's Day stamps and I used the one from Inkadinkado that I have had forever for my inside sentiment.

I even decorated the envelope with a peg stamp from Judith's stamps.
