Over the weekend, I saw this video from Dawn's Stamping Studio and thought it was so cute and wanted to try it. I thought I would have trouble cutting it out - as cutting is not a strength of mine - but it was the stamping I had trouble with. Dawn made it look so easy but it took a few tries to get it right!
Recipe:
Stamps - Flower Shop, Petite Petals - SU
Ink - Melon Mambo - SU
Paper - Whisper White, Crumb Cake - SU
Accessories - Petite Petals Punch
Embellishments - Pearls - Michaels
I won't go into all the details as she does such a good job on her videos. As I mentioned, I did have trouble with the stamping and I think it was because my ink pad was not wet enough so I could stamp a few times with it. Fortunately, I had a re-inker for my Melon Mambo and I feel it definitely helped. I didn't stamp any sentiment on my cards, as I think this card would be perfect for a lot of occasions and will stamp it when I go to use them. I'm trying to build up my stash again, and I think this card was great for that - and it used one of my favorite stamps - pansies!!!
Rachel and Sarah spent time this weekend with Jennifer and had so much fun with her! Snow is expected this week, so maybe we'll have more stamping time!
Thanks for stopping bye,
Nancy, Rachel & Sarah

I love the Flower Shop set! I don't have Petite Petals, but they are such a nice combination. You're right, this design could work for many occasions and it will be so pretty with the sentiment added. Just a quick stamp and it's ready to go!
You did great on cutting! what cute cards!
