Retirement Card

My daughter asked me if I had a retirement card, so I checked out my stash.  I had made this card which I thought would be perfect at my friend Denise's summer stamping classes - Five Bichons & Me.

Supplies:

Card Base: A2 size
Stamps:  Summer Solstice and Sweet Little Sentiments - SU
Paper:  Whisper White - SU
Ink:  Rich Razzlebery, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery - SU
Punches:  Word Window & Modern Label

First, I stamped two of the flowers with Rich Razzleberry and one with Baja Breeze and then cut them out.  I used Rich Razzleberry and lightly used my dauber in the center of the Baja Breeze flower.  Then I stamped the leaves with certainly celery and cut them out as well, and placed the three flowers and leaves on the side of the card using dimensionals so they would stand out. I also used Baja Breeze for the stamped butterfly.

When I make  a card, I usually never put a sentiment on until I decide how I am going to use it.  This time I used the Happy Retirement stamp and punched it out and placed it on the bottom of my card. This isn't my usual type of card but I liked how it turned out! Hope you are having a good week!

Thanks for stopping bye,
Nancy, Rachel & Sarah
