I have a few cards that I have wanted to post but here it is - another week starting! I am trying to get caught up but life seems to get in the way! This card I made for Rachel's birthday. Hard to believe our first Grandchild turned 25!
She loves butterflies, so I chose this stencil called Butterfly Garden from Gina K. I did some ink blending with some pink and purple colors and framed it with black CS and used SU's Highland Heather CS for my base card using Gina's ML#2. For my sentiment, I used Gina K's Holiday Floral Poly-glaze/die with her lavender foil and sprinkled some gems around to make the butterflies sparkle.
My inside sentiment was from SU's Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. I used some leftover blended stencil paper to decorate the side of the card. I love how the butterfly stencil turned out! I will definitely be using it again.
Thanks for stopping by,
Nancy
I entered this post over at the May 2025 stencil Fun Challenge.

butterfly like result of painting.... beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe butterfly stencil did turn out amazing, and beautiful colors with it! Love both sentiments, too -- die cut on the front and stamped inside. Time flies like these butterflies, and here Rachel is 25 years old already!
ReplyDeleteSuch a PRETTY card, Love the stencil, love the ink blending and love that cardstock. I don't think I have any Highland Heather cardstock. What's wrong with me. Is it retired? I'm going to have to check my cardstock now and see if I have any.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about grandchildren. They grow up so fast. Hope you have a great week!
