I had to make some birthday cards and while I was looking for ideas I came across this VIDEO from Debbie's Designs. As you know, I love pansies so I decided to make one. This was so easy, so I attached her video in case you want to make some.
I used SU's Polish Pink CS for my base card and the Pansy Petals DSP for my layer. For my butterfly, I used Heartfelt Creations Floral Butterflies DSP and cut it out with the coordinating dies. For my sentiment, I used SU's Beautiful Day stamp set. I thought it was just perfect for this card.
Here is a close-up of the bead I made for the body of the butterfly. I loved how it turned out. I think it would be hard to mail unless you put it in a padded envelope.
For the inside of my card, I used some more of the Floral Butterflies DSP. I thought the little butterflies looked so cute. Well, Easter is here and I can't believe it but I didn't make a single card. Life sometimes gets in the way. Have a great week and a blessed Easter.
Thanks for stopping by,
Nancy
