Several weeks ago I saw the Blooming Bouquet for sale at SU and decided I would order it and try it out. I love how it turned out!
You get everything you need to create this adorable bouquet. SU even put out a how-to video. The one thing I did different was put the large flower down first and then glued the rest of the flowers on top of each other - I found this worked better for me. Try both ways and see what works for you. I decided to give this to my daughter for her desk at work, so I used a small canning jar and put some colored shredded paper inside for decoration and glued some ruffled ribbon around the edge and a bow on the front. I also make a few pinwheels using SU's Sizzix pinwheel. I used the same procedure that I did for the flowers to make the pinwheels using my 1/2" circle punch for the backing and flower wire for the stem. I just ordered my Flower Shop stamp and Pansy punch and will definitely use these to make another bouquet.
The girls and I are working on some July 4th projects in between having some fun! Hope you have a great week - stay cool!
Thanks for stopping bye,
Nancy, Rachel & Sarah
So cute, and looks like lots of fun to create with all those pretty papers. I just bought the pansy punch and coordinating set and I love it.
