Patriotic Cards & Jennifer at Disney

I have made several Patriotic cards in the past for the 4th and ended making some more this year.  It was way too hot to go outside.  The temperatures have been out of control lately.  PA has broken 10 heat records already this month.

I used my SU star embossing folder and layered it up on SU's Brilliant Blue CS.  I used SU's Sunshine Sayings & Wishes die set.

I have so many sets of letters left over from the girls when were in school, so I used some for the USA on the cards.

For the inside sentiment, I used an old SU stamp from 2001 called God Bless America Special Edition that I found while I was cleaning out my stamps.  I knew I had it and couldn't find it so that started the clean out process in my craft room!!

Jeannie and Jennifer are down at Disney this hot week.  It was Jennifer's surprise for getting on the High Honor Role and Perfect Attendance this year in 5th Grade.  Rachel was suppose  to go with them, but unfortunately she came down with Covid the day before they were leaving!  They are keeping us posted with lots of pictures.  Here are a few:

This was watching the fireworks from a boat over at Epcot.

These were all taken at breakfast.  I love her smile! They are having such a great time!

When she was at the dinosaur exhibit, she was chosen out of the kids to name a new baby dinosaur - Yellow!

Unfortunately, she can't go in the water, as a few weeks ago she broke the knuckle on her right pinky playing basketball and has a brace on it.  It's hard to see in the pictures as she is hiding it!!

It's  been on for 6 weeks, so hopefully when she go back to see the doctor next week it will come off before she goes to camp!

I entered this card over at - Double D Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and stay cool!!

Father's Day Card

We hope that all the father's out there had a great day yesterday celebrating with their families and friends.  Everyone came here yesterday, and we had a nice time.  I was able to get in my craft room and make a quick and simple card for Joe.

I used SU's One Wild Ride stamp set for the sentiment.  I have so many 6" x 6" pad DSP and found this one for the card.  Little by little I'm trying to clean out my craft room.  I have two bags of stamps that I plan on taking to the Goodwill.  My ribbons are next.  I have had so many given to me that I will never use them all, so I am going to share the goodies!

I used my old Father's Day stamp from Michael's for the inside along with a scrap of the DSP.  Better than throwing it away!  Joe loved it.

Thanks for stopping by,

Mother's Day Card

What's the old saying - there's so much to do and not enough time!  That's how I feel lately.  The weather has been so nice here lately that we are spending so much time outside catching and cleaning up and I haven't made any time for crafting.  Today is supposed to get really hot, so that will keep us inside for awhile.  I forgot to post my other Mother's Day cards that I made which can be used for many occasions.

These came together pretty quick.  I used Gina K's Watercolor Floral DSP and her Ephemera.  They make putting together a card so easy.

I used different flowers and leaves on the front of the cards. I used Spellbinders oval dies and stamped my sentiment from Maker Forte -  Here's Your Sign stamp set.

For my inside sentiment, I used my old Michael's stamp and used some extra DSP to dress up the inside.  Loved how these turned out.

Thanks for stopping by,
