It's hard to believe that Rachel and Sarah started school this week and our summer is over! All the Mom's are always so happy the first day of school, but the Grandparents are sad! Oh well, at least they have a long holiday weekend coming up! I'm always on the lookout for things to make for the teachers, bus drivers, and friends in general. I came across our favorite "Cookie Monster" at www.dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com. She has a great video on how to make these and they came together really quick. A great tip was using the back of a pencil eraser to make the chocolate chips in the cookie! The girls enjoyed handing them out to their friends and teachers. My only problem was trying not to eat up all the bags of cookies!

Baggie Mini Album
Rachel and Sarah are at the shore for a few days, but before they left I made each of them and their friend some Baggie Mini Albums. I saw this technique on cardztv.blogspot.com. She had a guest, Lynn Baker, who does a lot of kids crafts do a video and I just fell in love with the idea! The albums can be used for any occasion and I made the girls Seashore Albums. I used scrap paper I had laying around and they came together really quick. I love the idea of the plastic bags holding their precious memories instead of getting lost with all their treasures in their rooms. I’m sure I will see lots of shells and sand when they return.

Easy Triple Time Stamping Technique
Today’s card I made for a friend who is recuperating from surgery – Hi Peggy! We hope you are feeling better! This technique has been around for a while and there are several videos on the stamping and assembly. Dawn from dostamping.typepad.com made one and she calls it “Easy Triple Time Stamping Technique. I used the stamp set from SU called Creative Elements which I really like, but I have seen many other stamps used with great results.
